Payment policies
We accept all types of credit cards and cash in US dollars or Costa Rican Colones.
- 50 USD additional charge per extra person , 13% taxes not included.
- Maximum 05 persons in 4-person Bungalow.
- Maximum 03 persons in 2-person Bungalow.
- Children under 6 years old stay free.
For all package reservations we need a deposit of 50% of the total package costs, as soon as we receive this deposit we will confirm your package. This deposit is not refundable. The second 50% you can pay directly at the hotel.
National Tourism
We promote national tourism and therefore give a 20% discount on the rates mentioned above if you can show us your Costa Rican Nationality or Residence Carnet.
Cancellation and Refund policies
All cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email. All cancellations must be acknowledged by the hotel. Fax: (506) 27401071, mail to [email protected]
High Season (November 15 – April 30): Cancellations received 7 days or less prior to arrival no refund.
Green Season (May 01 – November 14): Cancellations received 7 days or less prior to arrival no refund.
We cannot be responsible for late arrivals (including plane delays), early checkouts, change of plans or rain and landslides. That means that you can change your plans or have your plans changed on you but you are responsible to pay for the changes.
Other terms and conditions
Dantica Cloud Forest Lodge will maintain any and all information regarding our guests, private to only our facility. The information entered into the site will not be provided to any other source. This information will be used solely by Dantica Cloud Forest Lodge.
- Check out time is 11:30 a.m. and Check-in time is 14:00 p.m. However, Dantica Cloud Forest Lodge will make best efforts to accommodate guests prior to the official check-in or after the official check out time when requested, and subject to availability.
- Rates are quoted for double occupancy per Bungalow. Published rates are subject to 13.00% tax or applicable taxes at the time if such should change. The room rate includes a daily – a la carte – breakfast per Bungalow served at our restaurant. An extra charge of 50.00 USD plus taxes will be applied for each additional guest. An additional guest is defined as a person in addition to the allotted double occupancy per Bungalow.
- Green Season is considered from May 1st through November 14th, High Season is November 15th through April 30th of each year.
- NO-SHOW and/or un-used room nights, and/or early check-outs are NOT REFUNDABLE regardless of the season.
- Please note that prostitution and the exploitation of underage persons is not permitted within the hotel grounds. Guests who do not respect this policy will kindly be asked to leave with no refund due.
- FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE: Dantica Cloud Forest Lodge is exempted for the liability for failure to execute arrangements specified herein directly or indirectly caused by or in consequence of any conditions beyond human control.
